I think we forgot this important point one time last year. What is the process for fixing the issue. What parts would I need and how would we repair?

Thanks!

This is your switch to turn on the electric element on your water heater. You can have it on by it self or with the gas on. I warm up the water with gas and then turn on the electric to keep it warm. It is very important to remember to turn the electic off when you break camp or you will burn out the element when you plug in at home without water.

I am at the same point in my life using this heater in the Rockwood. Behind the gas line to the water heater is a black cover that you need to remove along with the gas line itself. That is covering the heater element. The element can then be disconnected from the power and unscrewed from the tank for replacement. CamcoRV make a 110v heater element that appears to be about $12 - 15 from Home Depot or RV dealers. There is also a video on You Tube that I found showing what to do. I think it was entitles RV water heater element removal part 1. Only short but it gave me the idea it was a simple fix I could do
