Our RV is kept at the house. When it is gone we are on the road or it is in the shop. It is not easy to tell the difference. Our house is fully alarmed and we live in an active neighborhood. Many of our neighbors are aware of our travel plans and act as extra eyes on our house.
I know many folks live in areas that are more private, which creates many security issues. Just do the best you can and keep alert. As said, if bad guys want it enough they will find a way.

X2 5erT; how can putting your RV at greater risk be part of a home security plan? I say protect both as best you can. What is stopping a sharp crook from finding your address from your plates and when it gone from the storage lot go break into your house?

Locks only work for honest people . if someone wants in your unit no amount or kind of locks will prevent them. you can set up deterrents but they will not stop someone dead set on getting in unless your there and make them really dead .
