Thinking of a '08 XLR 37x12

I currently have a '11 windjammer 3006w thinking of selling and buying a used '08 XLR 37x12. I ended up buying 5 dirt bikes a year after I bought the windjammer. Anyone out there have one of these? Thoughts on them.

We bought a 2009 Xlr 37x12sa last summer and we love it so far! It has a really nice spacious layout for a toy hauler. Garage has a lot of room for the toys. It seems to be very well built. The only thing I can say bad about it and it's small is the fuel gauge doesn't seem to work but I haven't really looked into it very much yet. I will tell you that it's pretty heavy and will need a pretty stout truck. But other than that we are really glad we bought ours..!!

Nice, we've looked at a few of them but keep coming back to the fact it feels like home. Not sure if it is because we have windjammer and kinda has the same feel. I guess kinda a FR thing. It does look pretty heavy. Well all the triple axle units look heavy. I would be towing with a '13 Chevy 2500 4x4 diesel. I would guess I should be fine. What do you use to pull with? I would guess your fuel gauge has a loose wire somewhere. Thanks for your input.

Yea we looked at a few different models like the raptors and the fusions but they seemed to be made kinda cheap "the floors felt spongy along with the rear cargo door rotting a the bottom" so we decided to go the FR route since they were built a lot stronger hence the weight.. Your chevy will pull it just fine if you don't have air bags I would look into them, I pull ours with a 2000 f350 dually w/airbags and the 7.3 diesel, it has the power to pull it and the only time I really know it's back there is when I'm going up a hill. I kinda thought it was something simple with the gauge I figured it may be wires or a fuse. Does te ones your looking at have the generator?
