On my 2016 29HFS...

Orange - Runs from the outside "cable" connection to the booster in the bedroom.

Black - Runs from the antenna to the booster.

I don't think this is necessarily the case. I have helped several friends work out their cable and satellite wiring. I think the colors are different more for the people installing during construction to be able to keep track of which cable goes where, but in no specific order. I have seen all different colors run to all different connections.

I must admit that I was intrigued by all the coax color discussion. My 335 has all black coax. Might depend on the specific RV vendor and even the day of the week. I wouldn't trust it. However, the best indication would be which cable is plugged into which port on the cable switch...if you have one!

My 8529IKBS has black, orange, purple & white.
In questioning the factory, they told me the different colors were only a 'visual' to help them hook up the coax correctly going down the line. They also indicated the exact same colors were NOT run to the same location every time. Whatever color coax the tech grabbed, is what was used.

If there is enough slack you can take footage markers off the cable to trace them without a tracer.

This is what I'm talking about.
