TV Mounting Weight Limits???

Ok, let mods begin...

On the 29HFS does anyone know if there's weight limit for the living room TV mount? I definitely can feel the mounting point about 6" wide, assume its a 2 x 6.

Planning to mount a 39" TV, 16lbs, on a Mor/ryde TV1-006H extending & swivel mount, 13lbs. Dang mount weighs almost as much as the TV!!! It is one heavy duty locking mount rated for 50lbs..figured bigger would be better right?

Sooo, is 30lbs to much weight for that mount area?? I did search the forum but didn't see many folks using this particular mount...did I go overboard??

I bought a mount when I first was going to move TV to different location. When I got it it was very heavy. Went with a sensa mount that I had already in the house. My TV is a 32"

No problem just use long enough lag bolts to get through the 2x6 a bit
i have a swivel mount with a 42" tv no issues in over a yr with about 8000 miles . i made straps to secure tv and leave the tv on the mount when traveling all is good .
