TV wall outlet.

Didn't get the info on the TV wall outlet. I have found out that to use the camper antenna the cable must be on TV and wall outlet green light on. But what about cable from campground how dies it need to be hooked up? What does
the green light on the TV wall plate mean?
Thanks

The green light is for OTA antenna. It shows when your signal booster is on. When on cable hook up, turn it off...

There is more going on inside that TV wall plate than people know. It actually has switching circuits inside and it switches between the antenna signal (green light on) and the park cable (green light off) . The antenna booster also comes on when it is on the antenna setting (green light on) but that is secondary in importance to the switching of sources. Your park cable hooks up on the outside probably under a lift up cover and it is labeled CABLE. In that cover should also be a connection for a satellite dish probably marked AUX or SAT.

Mine is where my tv hooks up in the master bedroom. It is just a little black button that when you push it a green light cuts on

Don't know your specific camper but, are you hooking up the sat dish to a connector on the outside that says AUX or SAT? It should then come into your trailer on a wall plate with the same marking on it, AUX or SAT. That would then obviously go to your receiver. If you have done that and it is not working, try the other connection on the outside marked Cable. There have been several cases, including mine, where the outside connections were reversed in manufacturing.
