Two Questions on my 29HFS

1st. Is the garage prewired for a second roof air conditioner?

2nd. Would reversing the door between the bathroom and the garage be a simple task? I would prefer it to open into the garage instead of the bathroom. Seems to me the whole door and surround (casing) could just be turned around. Therefore the door would open towards the wall cabinet in the garage. Your thoughts?

Thanks!

You will lose space in the garage if the door swings that way. With my bike strapped down in the garage, I would not be able to open the door if it swung into the garage.
FYI...

1. No i don't think so . if you want another AC in Garage you will need to run the wire and install another power supply cause the 30 amp that the unit has now will not run 2 ac.
2. second what steve says . if the door open into the garage then i could not access the garage when the bike was in there .

Yeah, I was afraid of that on the air conditioner and had wondered if 30 AMP would be enough, so I'll scrap that idea.

As far as the door opening into the garage, that wouldn't be a problem for me. I haul two mobility scooters. DW and I are both Seniors and for some reason we can't seem to walk as far and easy as we once could, lol.

Thanks much for your responses.

I understand that not there yet but time catches us all up . on the door you could just remove the hinges from the jamb and notch out on the other side with out switching the whole door frame around and then make a spot for the striker plate . you would have where the hinges were and the old striker plate but i'm sure you'd be the only one the noticed . then if you sale you could switch back easy

Thanks Steve. You do, as well !

BTW, I love the Haier portable. So quite and no thump when compressor kicks in... Has fan only and dehumidifier mode. Its 10k btu and my Honda 2000 can run it easily. It evaporates the condensate so you don't have to empty a tank. If you look closely you can see "scars" where my triumph fell on it... Oops

I reversed the door today. Pretty simple job. I think we're going to like it much better.

Thanks for the suggestions and comments!

Looks good . If the bike chock wasn't in the way I'd do that mod . maybe i can switch it back and forth the bikes only in the garage when traveling.

NS,
That was my thought as well. When the bike is not in the garage (i.e. traveling) then we could have the door swing into the garage. This is a DW decision as I personally don't care...
