Using the Onboard generator

We have only had our trailer for a few weeks and I just tried running the generator to see what it powers. I could not get the A/C or the microwave on with the generator. Is there a switch or something I have to turn on while using the generator? Everything worked great with shore power.

as they said, there's a breaker or switch at the generator .. same issue with me when i took delivery of mine. We fired up the generator, no ac. called Brad (s.e. xlr rep) and he directed us to that switch/breaker.
