Vinyl exterior decals

Hello
I have a 2008 XLR 37X12 and was wondering if anyone has been having trouble with the exterior vinyl stickers/decals pealing off. My other fifth wheel decals lasted 15 years. Is this a problem or did I just get lucky with a bad batch of vinyl decals from the manufacture. I also wonder do these things have a warrantee. Any response is appreciated.

"Flagstaff" came off the front of my 5th wheel the first time I washed it. Rest are staying on fine. Wayne

YES! All of the manufacturers are using the cheapest vinyl that they can purchase. 2 to 5 years is about the life out of that garbage. Best solution, find a mobile graphics shop and pay them to replace all of them (Cheapest).
Pay a shop to peal them all off and paint on new ones (most expensive, but longest lasting). Or peal them all off and go naked.

Yup they usually use cheap vinyl. Just go to some local sign/decal shops and check out replacements. They should use a premium vinyl but it won't be that cheap. Also something to keep I'm mind, most metallic vinyls although premium material, aren't rated for more than a couple years outdoors. If you are going with a printed decal make sure it's ink jet and laminated.

I got a quote from forest river and to replace the decals would cost me $545 I think i'm on the same page as Donn and just have them painted on and forget about every 5 years spending 500 bucks. Thanks for all the comments, unfortionatly I'm not the only one with this issue.

My side labels have "chicken pox."

Year two I started getting "pimples" about 1/2 inch in diameter.
There are about 30 on the camper now.

Only the green and red labels have the problem so I am assuming they were bad from the start.

I tried to pop them with a pin and "re-stick" them; but it is the glue underneath that is bad.

Smile vinyl decals

Don't pay someone to take them off. I took some of mine off. Just take a hair dryer and heat them up. They will peel off real easy. I had some decals made up for my ramp door and put them on by myself. Also very easy. Wayne
