You need to check out the Blue Ox you don't need the friction bars with this one and you can mount it two different ways to the trailer frame. I have had mine a couple of years and it gives me full control of my TT and you can't back up without bars falling off. You can see it on e-Trailer.com.

I have a 2500 dodge diesel and the 29fqsl nitro I notice today I would have to move my emergency trailer brake mech cause it's right in the way of where you would put the clamps on the frame. I like blue ox looks anyone know how wide the top of the clamps are?

When I bought mine I got the 1500 TW bars and I have a 29hfs.
They make an over the frame clamp and a bolt in version. I paid $780.00 for mine pulls great with no sway and I towed the first time with it 400+ miles with 20 mph wind and rain with gust of 45+ I was sold on the Blue Ox after that.

New to this but two trips so far with my 29HFS behind my 2500HD with a Blue Ox and love it so far. Being new I have nothing to compare it to other than it seems to tow great, no sway, great WD, and hooks up very easy.

over 2000 miles with the andersen 29hsf through all kinds of weather , head winds, cross winds ,tail winds , rains, snows ,mountian passes . no problems at all no sway , no bounce , the only issue it the last 200miles it started squeaking. stopping into Andersen manufacturing tomorrow on my way to west Yellowstone and let them check it out supposed to be totally quite
