Nice work and photos Dave! Thanks for posting.

I have neglected to add the accumulator, but what a practical mod it is! May I ask, where did you buy it?

Also nice install on the surge protector; with plugs lets you bypass it just in case. I have a Progressive that plugs in at the pedestal, and hope I won't leave it at a camp site one day

Also, stupid me was trying to figure out Mojojo's comment about the camcorder... kept me looking until I realized the word was "spell checked" and he meant Camco. If the name / logos are like the ones I had on the old TH, they aren't just stickers... maybe printed with paint. Are they removable? I have 2 white covers (craigslist $5) and haven't put them on because I wanted black... but for letting in sunlight, the white has to be better. I wonder how much light the black ones let in???

Hey WW, my mods don't have you're artistry, but I have enjoyed upgrading my toy immensely. I will be copying your drawer under the bed idea. How did you mount the slides?

I got the accumulator on Amazon (like most of my parts). They are not always cheapest, but it's convenient and time is my most precious resource. I was pleasantly surprised when I traced all the lines by the water pump to find one that ended in a screw off plug. When I took the plug off, the accumulator screwed right on - that easy. I have to think that is what it was for.

The idea for bypass plugs on the surge suppressor was from reading FROG posts, so I cant take credit! Four plugs were $60, but I'd rather do things right than cheap.

You're right about the letters on the vent covers. they are not a sticker on mine, but part of the plastic cover. I would have to imagine the black covers would block all light - which might not be a bad idea over the bed.

Leesburg, 2014. Looking forward to next month!

Is Leesburg the bike rally? I went to either the first or second one they had. I'll have to check it out. Do you know a good place to camp there? You can PM is you have information,

I built a box that holds the drawer as you know; it fits snuggly inside the opening with the front flush to the as built face frame. I did have to trim the backer strip for the original panel, flush to the opening... (spruce 1x). The box is then screwed into the face frame top and sides (flush screws). I also screwed and glued triagular blocks just below the box on each side. The box rests on them and helps support since I didn't think the face frame was up to the task of supporting a 16" deep drawer. The blocks are not fastened to the box; it can be removed. I can get you measurements if you need them.

Thanks, Wolf.

I settled on Cuisinart combo microwave / convection / grill oven. If I knew how much work and time it was going to take to do it... you know that old story. I had to extend the cabinet forward about 2 inches and build a new face. But, being concerned about the high heat generated, I vented the top of the cabinet and ducted into the range hood (which is next to be upgraded), plus I lined the microwave cabinet with metal.

Mod 2 was cuttting the corners off the generator rack on front that HIT MY bumper and made a dent... while pulling forward, which I didn't think was possible. I would be good to make a tight turn slowly and have someone walking and checking clearance. Tip of the Day!

WW nice work on convection oven --- looks like it was installed at factory --- I'm defiantly changing that front box - first mod I'll be doing - I'm thinking I'll put on of those shiny prefab triangle metal boxes on the front - going to need more battery storage and security for batteries for solar system..... 7 days to pickup I think I will bring my SawZaw and cut the corners off at pickup

Sawzall is the ticket and a grinder or even a file to smooth the dangerous edges. Tell me what exactly your solar system is going to be, por favor'
