Steve, I looked and I've uploaded 202 files 24.59Mb in total.

I click "quote" after reading your message. Then I scroll down to "manage attachments" BTW I have 1)Show your signature, 2)Automatically parse links in text and 3)Automatically retrieve titles from external links all checked. Notification type is: Instant email notification and Rating Thread - Choose a rating (nothing selected)

So, to attach I click Manage Attachents and a box pops up. Choose File (I find a file); I chose a pic of my camper (265K jpg) then click Upload. In 6 seconds I got a message at the top of the pop up "img.jpg Upload of file failed."

Does this from two PCS with various camera sources also from my smart phone when using the FRF app.

Hopefully, someone that knows something with the server / system (could be virtual or a hosted option) will be notified and find the issue.

I've thought about creating a new account and trying to upload, but my IP would be the same, so if I am being blocked by firewall (etc) that will probably do no good.

My settings match yours as well....

The one thing I want to confirm is your file name. The above error says - "img.jpg" is what failed to upload. Your file name is not - mypicture.img.jpg is it? Just trying to rule out Attachment upload thinking it's an invalid file extension.

This was probably the first time I tried to upload that particular img.jpg. I've tried many others, but usually jpg or png. I tried a very small .doc and another jpg. The jpg was named DSC00413.JPG, it was 3.1M... so I found one at 104K and another 77K all failed. Pretty much broke!

I haven't read all the way through this discussion, so these maybe a repeat questions.

WW, do you have a smart phone? I use Tapatalk app for iPhone for the forums. Works really well.

I wonder if there is a limit to the amount of photos one account can upload on the forum.

Has to be an account limit thing. Do you have any photo albums stored on this site? If so, try deleting them.

What files types can I use? How large can attachments be?
In the attachment window you will find a list of the allowed file types and their maximum sizes. Files that are larger than these sizes will be rejected. There may also be an overall quota limit to the number of attachments you can post to the board.

Have you been to the below?

You have to be on a computer to do this or at least the browser on a smart phone. The apps don't seem to enable you to get here.

Click "photos" way up at the top in the forest green band. Then click "profile" which is mid page in the right. Finally click statistics on the left.

Installed the SideOut Kover today. I shouldn't have been so cheap.. if anyone orders these get the cover. I thought the cover was the aluminum curved thing that keeps the sun off of it... no its the front. So mine doesn't have a front... dumb on my part. Oh well! I will check with shadepro.

Hey Steve, I can upload photos to the album but not on a post. A tech is working on it ... I think... he added wait til fail... didn't help. Mine might fail in 5 seconds.... Shouldn't fail for way more than that, this says to me there was a rule or some kind of limit imposed about two weeks ago. Fingers crossed. It also seems like the partial fail that some are experiencing isn't my issue.
