WW,
I would add a very thin layer of white dynaflex.

Thanks Steve... I'll try that... next time you can bet, I'll be more careful. BTW, this stuff goes on easy and stays flexible and is of course paintable.

WW,
I used the Dyanflex to reseal around my water door area back in 2015. I used the clear but am going to pull it out and use black this time. It's no longer clear, more cloudy really. But it has held up very nicely the past 20+ months.

Looking forward to you pictures of your finished project...

Pic shows 95% progress.

I'm going to spray dye the shades and come up with better lighting and am kicking around ideas in my head.

Since the main reason for making the space nicer is to be able to use it for a dining room, I need to figure out what to do about table and seating.

I need to seal the baseboard to floor for sure. I think black silicon would be perfect. I know what you mean about the clear... it turns milky or yellow... molds down here in the land of humidity.

I forgot that you have a water compartment... very cool.

Leshic- thanks for reminding me lol - I've only had basically all the parts to do for 6 months or so - got a slider insert from Home Depot- going to remove upper cabinets and run slider frame on back wall - finish with diamond plate - rehang cabinets - might have to trim some off cabinet for upper vent on side - it's real close - seems simple but time I don't have -- someday before spring 😜

Hi HC, the 30HDS wasn't made yet when I was in the market, or that is the one I would have. I thought about selling mine and getting a Nitro 5th wheel, a while back.

No help Steve... I installed a Magnum Inverter/Charger in that spot, (+solar charger... connections and transfer switch moved there). I use a portable Honda 2000 and it only powers the Magnum.

Did you get the gen-prep package?

I seem to remember a member who installed an Onan 4000... have you tried searching?

I did get the gen-prep. All wiring and fuel hoses are there.

I have reviewed previous threads about the install.

My issues is once I removed the bottom of the compartment my Onan 4000 does not line up with the cross braces it is supposed to be bolted to and the cut out in the floor of the compartment does not seem to be big enough. The generator sets on the edges of the plywood.

So far no real answers from Forest River.

Measurements are very close to mine. 15 1/4" x 25 1/4". I will be very surprised if it is supposed to mount to the plywood. I was told crossmembers should line up to at least 2 bolt holes.
