Nice! Are you Amish by chance? (That would be odd, considering your regular postings on the Internet, but maybe your "Modern Amish.")
I respect those, but no; Mennonite, perhaps
I forgot with your 30 the beaver tail, that makes loading a cruiser better, for sure. I noticed in your photos of the ramp flap your plaid kilt is showing. Is ann den aon chlò an cathdath.

OMG, I'm sitting here laughing hysterically--the "plaid kilt" in those pics is actually a folded blanket sitting on top of a 20# propane tank that I'm letting the door/ramp rest on while I installed the flap. When I realized what you were talking about, I almost fell out of my chair!
Is ann den aon chlò an cathdath. Yes. Yes it is. I guess.

I want to put the Harbor Freight wheel chocks in mine but I will have to pull down the sealed underbelly and navigate the fuel tanks mounted in the back.
In my 7x12 cargo trailer I have a similar setup with dual chocks and E-track down the sides, middle and top and bottom.
Chocks have a metal plate underneath to support. Very solid.
I want to do the same to my Toy Hauler, dont want 1k lb bikes moving around.

Yes, I do have the sealed underbelly, and yes, the fuel tank is in the way for mounting the HF wheel chocks. So here's my workaround.
I took a thin piece of steel, about 8-9" wide, 24" long, and 1/8" thick. I oriented it on the floor so that the rear of the plate was behind the tank below and the front of the plate (where the chock goes) was over the tank. Then I welded 4 large nuts to the top of the tank and used very short (but stout) bolts to mount the chock to the plate, and drilled 4 holes in the rear of the plate to bolt it through the floor, thus missing the tank. If yours is like mine, the insulation and underbelly covering stops after the tank, so you can reach that spot to bolt the plate. Added bonus is that if you want to remove the chocks, you just unbolt the 4 large bolts from the top, and then just the plate stays there permanently.
I think I had pics of it around here somewhere, let me look. If not I'll go take some and post again.

My XLR has two gas tanks under the garage floor.
We went with the freestanding wheel chock and strapped the front tire to the stand.
Then strapped the cycles to the floor D rings.
This work out great, no unbolting needed. Just move them out of your way and roll out the carpet.
The steep ramp with wet tires has been a issue. Looking into a small winch to assist with this problem.
I put some diamond sheets on my ramp but even that wasn't enough traction sometimes. I have an inexpensive 12-V winch with battery clamps I used to pull hay bales up to the hayloft door. It now resides in the front outside storage bay. When I need it I use a chain to connect it to a tie down and a set of jumpers to connect to the house battery. Pulls the 800# Spyder right up.
Somehow I neglected to post pics of the chocks before, so I took some today. The first pic is the rear of the chock, you can see the 4 bolts that go through the floor holding the plate down. The second pic is the chock, you can see the 4 larger bolts that hold the chock to the plate. I only had one gas tank to deal with, so if you guys have two, you could still do this, you just have to figure out where you have an open spot underneath.

I saw something similar but made them myself out of 3/4" thick (southern) cherry. Fastening... The top and bottom pieces are separated by a 3/4" X 3/4# pine strip painted flat black; countersunk holes through it (4) and screwed to wall with #6 x 1/18 inch drywall screws. If it loosens I can add double-sided tape. I could make a couple more for a phenomenal fee :-)

I still think you must have some Amish blood in you from back somewhere.... Those are nice. Wife already purchased (and I installed) a set of flip-down holders, in the same spot. She prefers the flat black look to most everything, but I like the wood. I guess you all know who wins that battle...

Yeppers, I know how those battles works... I am slow, but I finally got it Mine were made before she had a chance to veto the idea, plus she likes them. I have seen the flip down type, they are handy. I'm going to make dividers in a couple of the "monster" (as FR puts it) pantry drawers, for silverware and whatever, her idea. I also thought about a box or two in the garage with flip-up lids to hold stuff neatly and would give us extra seating, if ever needed. Probably screwed to the floor. I'm so ready to head to North GA as soon as it warms up and do some riding.

Well today I went and pulled a bunch of spare bedding and blankets out of mine. It's stored at the dealer at the moment as I brought it in for some warranty work to be done during the winter.
I do however have a question, for those with a similar TV location setup as me how have you mounted it and what size did you install?? I believe the factory option is a 33" but wondering if anyone with a 30HFS5 has installed their own.
Thanks
EDIT> Taranwanderer, just a heads up but your private message box is full so can't receive any messages.

Just noticed the PM thing as I was clicking on the thread, thanks for the heads up. I cleared out some space...
As for the TV: yes, the DW immediately thought that the 32" or whatever TV that came with the XLR was way too small, so we scrapped it entirely in the order and had them credit us that cost. Then I measured the space, and the DW ordered the largest TV that could fit in there (I want to say it was 45" or something.) The key is finding the thin, lightweight TVs (LED) and going with one of those. They have them at BestBuy, but I think it was a better price on Amazon. There's a stud in the center of that wall, I think it's wood, that we had the dealer mount the folding TV bracket to. Then we mounted those "TV straps" at the corners to keep it securely in place while we're moving. I mounted the Dish receiver in its mounting bracket on the wall on the left of the TV (so when the TV bracket folds in close to the wall for travel, there's still enough room behind it for the receiver.)
I'd take some pics, but there's almost 2' of snow between me and the camper at the moment. I will be snow blowing a path out there at some point. Next time I'm out, I'll snap some pics.
