What did you do to your Hyperlite XLR today?

WW - I've thought about doing that but would want clear glass for more visibility- if I where to get another Toyhauler I would definitely look for one with more windows on curb side - living in WA it can get kinda cold leaving the door open 😃

Hey Allen! What I wanted to do was replace the frosted with stained glass. Saw one the other day... humming bird I think. But typical of me it will probably have to be custom; that way I could have bright colors and some clear. it brings in a lot more light

Finally got around to mounting the tv in the front bedroom using just a standard tilt mount. The mount is not travel worthy but it's very easy to put the tv on and take off.

Wolfwhistle, we have a 27HFS and would like to do this to our door. Did you use a jigsaw to cut it out and is there any aluminum to watch out for? Thanks.

I after measuring for placement I taped up both sides, traced out outside frame then drew all around that just inside by about 3/8" inside of that. There is little room for error and the one you get could be different. I drilled several holes through after making careful measurements and yes, then a jig saw with a short blade so i could cut each side separately. There is nothing in the way ... nothing but Styrofoam... but a word of caution ... when drilling through don't hit your screen door with the drill bit. I almost did that.

I found this one on ebay for $30 plus $12 shipping and have seen others for $36

The cheap-o and rusting tag bracket / tag light is something that I have considered doing something about. I was looking for something nicer; really couldn't find anything.. then starting looking around the shop.

I also have the standard issue (getting worse) with LCI poor excuse for a ramp. The center of the ramp is soft where the foam sheets come together.

So, I decided to kill two birds with on stone.

I used a piece of 1/4" thick 6061 on the inside and a nice thick wall 2-1/2" aluminum angle on the outside. I bolted with through the ramp with two 5/16" carriage bolts; also holding the tag with the same bolts (two sets of bolts / washers).

Covered the top of the alum. angle with diamond plate.

I hope the green letters / numbers don't disappear with the bright green LED light??
