Spent sometime today installing a Stinky Slinky Holder like others have. Used the Northern Tool 6" conduit and some pvc from mendards. A quick spray paint worked but will look for something more durable since this is right be hide the gas tank.
Thanks to others for coming up with this solution.

Forgot to take pics but also installed the 3 pvc shut off valves like others have for the outside drains.

Still working on the right magnet solution for the bathroom door to main living room. I have strong magnets but the screws and washers are preventing the magnets from touching each other. I will be working on this soon.

Steve, I'd like to do this and free up the space my sewer hose box is taking up (in the generator box (no genny)). I didn't realize how nice it is made, looks good! I wonder how you attach the caps to the PVC?. I don't see a problem with black paint if it sticks. You used to be able to get Krylon for plastic that seemed to bond nicely. I have seen black PVC, but not in 6"

HD and Lowes has them... even in bronze. It stays put... I don't even close the door while traveling. I have an extra one... too bad you are 2000 miles away I put them on almost all the interior doors in the house, too. If you like to open the windows when its nice, they will keep doors from slamming if its breezy.

WW,
I had a tub for the sewer hose the first trip out. Just knew I needed it outside of the camper. The setup I "copied " was easy to do. The PVC pipe was ~$22, the conduit covers ~$50, a can of Rustoleum ~$3. After painting the PVC, I just slid the covers on. They were actually pretty tight (used a rubber mallet to tap them in). I should have left the paint dry longer than 1 hour but I was in a time crunch. In the end, very easy project and HIGHLY recommend it.

WW,
Finally got the magnets to work. Used a rubber grommet in each magnet to take up the extra space in the hole of the magent. Now the magnets are touching each other instead of the washers. BUT I do like your nicer door holder. Will have to change my out in the future.

Been busy. Like WW, my gen/battery rack hit my rear truck bumper on tight turns so I cut it off to fit the frame, welded on new angle iron plus angle iron for a second battery, and then repainted it.

I also installed a 3000 watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter in the cargo compartment. I don't need that much power (and I don't have the batteries to support it, even with a second one added) but you never know in the future. For now I'll use it to power the TV/120VAC outlets, Tassimo coffee maker, and occasional microwave use when we are off the grid and don't want the genny on. I added a second transfer switch so the system will automatically select between shore power, generator, or inverter. I also installed a relay that shuts down 120 VAC power to the converter, Air Conditioner, refrigerator and hot water heater when on inverter power.

While I had it torn apart I added an LED light for the cargo compartment, with a switch by the door.

Because the inverter needed 4/0 cables and a 400A fuse, the cables were a problem to connect to the batteries, so I added a junction box that has the 400A fuse and all main power connections.

Nice work Dennis! Really nice.

I couldn't add angle iron to my cut down rack, because my ex son in law (yes, ex) has had my welder for 6 months. He needed it for a 30 minute job that he hasn't done in all this time. I'll stop by and get it next time in his area. Why such a big fuse (400 Amp.)?

I'm really interested in the PSW Inverter... you're smart to buy bigger than you need now. So, where and how much?

Also, wiring drawing for the second transfer switch?

Also, also, I see you have the Blue Ox; how do you like it and how easy to set up? Did it come with it or did you add it?

I have at least 15 of my 20 questions left

Added some stabilizers for my landing gear. No pics of the rear but it's on too.

Going to put them to the test next weekend.

Nice B, I added them on a trailer I used to own. The new owner should appreciate it.

Please update us after the test. My 30hfs-5 shakes like crazy. I was going to start with X-Chocks, but a report on the JTs will be much appreciated.👍

Thanks Dave and WW.

WW, I'll have to get back at you on the wiring...in my head, not written down.

I bought the Go Power PSW off of Amazon for $1059. Just installed it so no comments yet other that it seems well built and I like that it is quiet. I read some reviews about the high noise from other inverter brands. When this is under a big load fans come one but nothing loud at all.

The 400A fuse was a Go Power as well, and that was what was recommended for this with the 4/0 cables. While I don't have the batteries to support full power at 3000 watts, it would be pulling 250A and if my memory serves me (which it usually doesn't) I think the inverter is rated for 6000W surge!

I also installed the remote panel ($71.99) which is excellent, and not sure how you could use the inverter if mounted remote and not have that. There is a pic of that in my original post. The Go Power transfer switch was $79.99.

I'll add more details later (there are lots of them!) and the wiring diagram.

I bought the Blue Ox from the dealer when I picked up the TH. They highly recommended it. I have limited experience so far but it sure seems like it does the job. The real test will by my trek to Sturgis with two Harleys in the back. It seems easy to setup and very easy to use. So, so far so good, but again, limited experience to date.

Trying to get my head around 400 Amps on the 12 VAC side.

12 volt inverters require approximately ten (10) amps DC input for each 100 watts output power used to operate an AC load.

So, Putting out 3000 Watts of 110V AC, the DC load would be 300 Amps. That's a lot, huh? I suppose they suggested 400 A, for the peak. Doing the math 6000 Watts would require 600 Amps. Good grief. That's why the 12 volt supply cable needs to be a big un.

I wonder what the internal fuses / breakers are in the Inverter?

I was trying to figure out AH requirement for batteries to produce 3000 Watts for an hour... good grief again.

The junction box is needed, as you point out, it could be inside the storage compartment, but it is easy to get to where you put it and neat.

Again, nice work.

WW, agree with all you wrote. I just wanted to power my TV, a coffee maker, maybe a laptop power supply, and short term microwave use. So I certainly had no intent on running high power for any extended time. The up charge to go from a smaller unit to the 3000W unit was not much in the grand scheme of things compared to all of the other costs and my time. Besides, my theory is that a larger unit "loafing' is better in the long term than a smaller unit working hard...thus my decision to go with the 3000W unit.

WW the Blue Ox is sweet. I wouldn't buy anything different after using it. It installs easy and quick. No sway what so ever and I use the 1500 lbs bars. The 1000 lbs bars would have been maxed out if I was haul nothing in the rear.

Installed my new ProPride hitch (an absolute amazing piece of engineering) and installed a tool box on the front end to help create some extra storage. Now I just have to find a soft sided propane tank cover because the plastic one won't fit between my tongue jack and the ProPride spring bar jacks without jamming it in there.
