You are correct; I say this because I own a gasser and I know how well it performs. I own a 3500 Duramax that I use for my business every day, all day. I do know what I'm talking about.

The OP will have no regrets pulling a TT with a 2500 series truck. People complain all the time at CG that they should have went with a bigger truck when towing a larger TT over 25 feet.

Why go through the trouble of adding air bags , springs & other things to make it look like we can tow it. Just buy the right truck and you will need to add nothing.

106 posts about mighty trucks, just makes me shake my head. Do your homework on each brand and make a choice on your own. I like what I have and when I bought it it was the best for me. I could care less what everyone else bought, because it becomes a chest thumping thread. Geeze....and I didn't read through all these posts either. On edit go to the HDT page a gert what those guys use.....you'll never have a problem hauling anything...

I love my ole' Cummins Turbo Diesel.... although I have many fond memories of my V8 Maxidyne but couldn't justify the cost to never utilize the brute power.

You'll enjoy towing with it. I was pulling my 29hfs with a F-150 Fx4 with the 5.0. It did the job but i know it was over the payload of the truck. Traded in and now pull it with a dodge 2500 diesel. It really makes a difference. Nice looking truck.

Nice Chevy! You will love the difference on how it pulls your TT. I absolutely love my ram 3500 diesel dually, whatever I put behind it follows me.

Yep lol not -- - 1/2ton Chevy Quadrasteer and before anybody starts on the 1/2ton part you better check the specs for a quadrasteer like 1 ton Dana rear end -6liter motor ect 318524 miles and still going strong.

Always be a Chevy guy 😎
