XLR 27HFS 2012 missing window screens

Hello we just purchased our 2012 XLR 27HFS and noticed that there are no window screens on the large windows behind the couch on the slide. All of the other windows do have screens. Anyone else have this model that does have the screens on those 2 long, crank-out windows behind the couch on the slide? We are not sure if they are supposed to have screens or not? It kindof looks like because of the crank-out mechanisms that a screen might not fit in there.

We have a similar model and it has small screens behind the couch. If I recall, they are on the inside and our windows crank out to open.

We have the same set up as Linnemj and it does have screens on the same type window.

Thanks for the responses. I am working with my dealer (rv outlet usa ) now to try and get the screens. Hopefully I will be able to get them. Just wanted to make sure that it should have them. I thought it should.

Look behind the couch, they may be there on the floor. They may have been removed for some reason, and then forgot to be put back in.

Mine was delivered with one of the screens behind the couch missing. It is as the dealer now for several other problems as well as the missing screen. Its been there for three weeks and still waiting for a couple of things to be sent from Forest River.

Thanks for the responses. Turns out it should have them and the dealership has ordered them and will send them to me when they arrive.

I was missing one in the garage. After 10 weeks and Forest River sending 2 screens that did not fit. The dealer took over and sent me one from a new trailer. I could not find one locally, I would have gladly bought one.

Hope you have better luck dealing with FR. I took pictures, sent measurements and the guy could not get it right. If not for my dealer getting fed up and sending me a correct screen, I would still be waiting. I had similar issues with two other items. I bought the parts locally so I did not have to deal with FR.
FR needs to fire the guy in charge of sending parts to their customers.

Couple of months later and I am still waiting on the screens. It does look like Forest River might have some issues with getting parts out for their customers.

Kathy, it is not Forest River, it is your dealer.
I ordered a few parts from FR under warranty, and they arrived within days.
