xlr 27hfs cargo area retractable screen

Our trailer does not have this and we were considering ordering it. It is a bit pricey, and we were wondering if people who do have it use it/feel that it is worthwhile? It comes in black or white apparently; does anyone feel that colour would make a practical difference? Thanks.

We are in the same boat.... a little nervous because we have dogs that would probably scratch at it?

We have our XLR since last June and have not used it yet. In many campsites, there is not enough space to lower the back door.

Well I am in Southbeach Tx right now and the bike is out of the garage and the rear door is open and the screen is down keeping the mosquito out and the great breeze in. Plus gives me a great view of the Gulf of Mexico. I also have a dog but she will not think of it as a door unless I let her use it as a door and have not done that. Not sure what the cost is as mine came with the trailer. I have been using mine everyday on this trip.

I believe when we called our dealer over a month ago, the retractable screen from Forest River was between six and seven hundred....we can't remember exactly. It is probably more expensive up here in Canada. I haven't researched other products.

I still think I would like to get one, I just need to convince my husband!

Thanks for your input. I will definitely start looking at some alternatives.

You could call the XLR parts department and order directly from them. Ask for Diane I believe - 574-975-0292.
