ramp door

So did you get your new door? A toyhauler's ramp shouldn't stress because you drive a Goldwing up and down it I would would think. BTW, any idea how long the FR warranty lasts on a structural thing like that? is it only one year do you know?

We did get a new door hopefully this one will last longer. I have made a plywood ramp that lays on the door in the tire path hopefully this will disperse the weight better and help the door

We have some issues that I've just posted questions about the biggest being a tear in the gel coat! Also, rain water getting inside the generator compartment which can then leak into the the RV interior.. not good! We have sealed the compartment so that stops happening and we're bringing it back to the dealer for the gel coat issue and will also have them address the generator compartment.
How did you make out on the gel coat repair?

Sounds like a good idea to offset some of the HD weight.
I have a Road King, an R1 and a couple 4 wheelers. Probably do the same when it comes time to load the Road King !!

Now if I can only figure out how to load the bike without jacking the nose of trailer so far up in the air that it looks like it getting ready to launch. After all I bought a toyhauler not a launch vehicle. BTW Steve where did you get the black tank flush valve. We don't really have any place close that we go and browse. People the live in BFE have never heard of us.

It is called a No Fuss Flush, there was another popular type that advertises a spinning nozzle. The reviews I read were not good. Users said it did not spin and some came apart inside the tank.

The No Fuss does not spin. It is a static nozzle.
Seems to work well.

before and after pictures. I added a ball valve.
Any chance we can get a parts list with a instruction sheet?

I did not keep a list. Went to Lowes with the drain tube and matched the threads to a plastic 90 degree elbow. The remainder of the parts i had on hand from doing home repairs. Sorry, when time permits, i will make a list

Anyone found a way to mount a TV in the bedroom?? We've been setting it on a plastic tub on top of the night stand.

That's great. I saw on your other post along with relocating your water pump. Can you take more pics of the pump. I've looked under the bed and cannot figure out where you put it. Thanks for the TV mount idea. I definitely plan to copy.

I think it is a bad idea to travel with TV'S hanging on the walls, so I never do it. I bought these mounts which allow quick removal and multiple mounting areas. Additional wall mounts are available for $12. I have 3 inside the trailer, one set up for the outside of the trailer and two in the house (computer room and garage) When we are not traveling the TV can be used at home.

Marine and RV

Call for addition wall plates.

I used a 1x6 in the front bedroom and a 2x4 in the garage. And a 2x4 for the outside mount, which I store in the front compartment, it's there if I want to use the TV outside. Black felt, glue and a staple gun. Cut the pieces very closely, so they fit tightly. Hand file them so they are wedged into place. I did not bolt them on a 200 mile trip. They did not move. After the trip, I used small "L" brackets to secure them for piece of mind. I do not tow with the TV's hanging, this set up is not designed for it.

I mounted one directly to the wall in the living area, just because a wall stud was readily accessible. More pictures next week when I take the trailer out.

Not to confuse anyone, the first pic is the outside mount. it is not bolted to the trailer. I did not want holes on the outside.

The small divider wall between the pump and storage area. I made a hole and extended the water pump lines into the storage area. then framed it at the floor so items in storage will not slide into the pump. I may raise the framing if it does not hold things back. For now it works fine. I will take more pics this weekend.

Picture of bedroom mount, outdoor mount, garage mount, and small L brackets used to hold them in place. I cut the boards very close so they are wedged into place. I used some felt to cover the indoor boards, glue and staples to hold the felt. Outdoor stores in the front compartment when not used. I painted it with bedliner in a can.
