XLR in the winter

Hello all,

I am interested in a 300X12 and am curious to know what you think of the insulation in these? I see they are the vacuum bonded walls which is the same as my current flagstaff ultra light and not very good in the cold weather. I thought maybe with the larger fifth wheel it might be better. What do you think? I am in PA by the way so I need something that will be OK with overnight temps into the teens in the winter time. Thanks!

I would think the construction on a 300x12 is the same as our XLR 27HFS. During this last winter we camped several times with the temp in the low 30's. The heater kept it pleasant inside but it ran almost constantly. Next winter I think we will get a small space heater to help out.

Our tt does not have the enclosed under belly which I am sure would help alot.
