Actually, you have to put both slides out. You can't get into that area at all unless you put out the LR slide at least partially as well.

You can get to the BR, BA and Garage without putting out the slides, but to get to the LR and kitchen area requires putting them out.

I keep large ice chests in the garage or the bed of the truck for all the groceries until we get to the campsite so it's not an issue for us. I don't even turn on the fridge until I'm setup with the rig leveled. But I can see where for some people it would be an issue for sure.

We have a 2016 Nitro FQSL. The slides have not been an issue. The switches to open them are right in front of you when you walk in the door. The a/c has been an issue. Here in Va. When the temp and humidity are in the 90's the a/c can't keep it cool until the sun goes down. You can get the factory to install second a/c and 50 amp service. The outside awning is pretty useless when slides are out except to keep debris off of slide. I highly recommend that you get the three season door option for the back ramp door. My wife and I really enjoy sitting on the deck but wouldn't be possible without this door. The pull down screen was a pain in the butt to open and you lose your cold air. I ordered and installed the door myself. It is beautiful and functional. We purchased a 6 foot square pop up shelter to put on the deck. It is our favorite place to be when we are at the lake. Toy hauler room is great for hauling our paddle boat or golf cart. Out of 8 trailers we have had this one is by far our favorite. Happy camping!!🇮🇴👌

If you get a chance, can you post pics on the three season door?

The refrig. isn't that big of a deal for us, I guess its the price to pay for more room inside when camping. I guess everybody has there pet pee, mine is the slide/awning outside and the garage door from living area opens wrong way cause it looks like if you have a couple bikes in back the door won't open with out hitting the bikes. That's the bad thing about not being able to see one in person.
We looked at a 2015 Keystone Impact 303 toy hauler which looks like almost same lay out but the nitro is little longer (3-4ft)

(Tireguy397) Do you have the basic A/C that doesn't keep your RV cool or do you have 15K.

31 FQSL air conditioner

Our a/c is 15,000 btu. We had an issue this summer when temp and humidity were very high and trailer was in the sun. At night we were very comfortable. We love this trailer and the a/c is not a serious issue but I wish I had known that the 2nd a/c and 50 amp service were an option for us. I found out from another forum member after I purchased the Nitro. I will take pics of three season door and post after work tomorrow.

Did your RV come with the Extreme Weather Package?
We do camping in VA couple times a year.

No extreme weather package. The DW and I like to camp in cool weather but not cold. The trailer is winterized before freezing weather gets here.

Just thought maybe it would help a little in the summer time, with the windows and extra insulation.

Here are pics of 3 season door. My first time attaching pics I hope it worked. Let me know if you have questions about the door or XLR.

Many RVs with kitchen slides are like this. I've seen high - high dollar units this way; and recently a small camper that the slide blocked the bathroom door. All this "uniqueness" are things you have to be aware of and if you don't like the floor plan, you will not run out before you find the perfect one. Personally, I would be happy trade my 29HFS with its nearly zero kitchen counter top for this one with a kitchen slide. I can carry drinks, and lunch fixings in a cooler (in the truck) and usually do, even with a cold fridge 20 feet away.
