XLR Thunderbolt
Has anyone else had QC problems with their XLR Thunderbolt? We have a '14 401 AMP and just a TON of little stuff wrong.

Have a few things on our 2013 395 AMP. Haven't taken it in to get them fixed yet though. Most of the little thing I have fixed myself.

We have the 2012 35x12 and did have issues. Some we didn't know, until we had to live it it temporarily, while building our home. Our dealer is far away, and the dealers close to us that sell FR campers, will not work on it because they do not sell the XLR model. Sooooo...I cannot stress how valuable going to the Goshen FROG rally is....for getting repairs done on your camper. We have gone two years in a row, and the plant manager and the service manager come to your unit, and work non stop, until every item on your list is repaired or replaced! Free of charge!
As a matter of fact, there were only 4 XLR's there this year....and that is out of 308 FR units that went.....so we were actually spoiled by the XLR team! They would love for more XLR's to show up at the rally! If you ever have the opportunity to go, it will simply blow your mind, what they can do for you! I fall in love with my XLR each time I go!

We have a 2012 386x12. And yes we did have issues. FR so far has done what was needed to fix.the problems. This is our third season and so far everything down the most part is doing well. I wish you luck and in my opinion it has been a PITA but wouldn't trade it on another

Just bought 2015 380amp... Took it out for the first time to make sure everything worked before my big trip and the grey handle on the grey tank won't shut all the way.

This isn't a FR specific problem. Those "remote" handles are a BAD idea. The best and easiest fix is to get another valve and install it in front of the lugs at the outlet.

When we purchased ours, that is what we were told. However, the FR dealer here close to us will not work on it because they don't sell the XLR model. Hopefully, ones near you don't have the same attitude. It is that reason, that we took it to the Goshen FROG Rally the past two years, and FR fixed everything for free!

Same here the local dealer wouldn't work on it. Another dealer that we didn't buy from did work on it but they were 2 hours away

We have had a lot of small issues with ours but so far the dealer and FR has fixed everything.
This isn't a FR issue as I have owned many different brands and it's an industry wide problem.

Hello! I'm new to the forum and a new owner of XLR 415AMP. I have owned a 5er before. This one has something wrong with living room side. It will go out just fine but it tilts very bad as it starts in. It will get stuck if I don't take my hand and pull it in on one side. Is this normal ?

We have a 2013 XLR thunderbolt have had problem after problem with it. The furnace is out again for the 2nd time. We have had both A/C's worked on. One went out totally the other leaked when it rained. Now we have delamination on one of out slides. And several other issues. We live in ours permanently so it's gets very frustrating !!!! Trying to find a dealer to fix things is a whole other issue as we travel for my hubby's work.
