XLR VS Work N Play
Stopped @ a local dealer the other day and looked @ a XLR Nitro 28KW Seemed to be build better than a work n play. Can anyone comment on that . I did like the floor plan and styling of the XLR .

I did see sawdust in the kitchen sink in the XLR. You would think the dealer would clean it up before displaying it on the lot.

I agree with the new nose on the w/p there are ugly. Ever time I tow my W/P I find more crap that came out from hiding .

I know that the XLR is allot fancier inside than my W&P 25CB. But as far as being "built better" that would be no. They all leave the factories with sawdust and construction debris still inside of them. Sad, but the factories send them through as fast as they can and leave the QC to the dealers.

In my opinion, I think the XLR look more stylish than the WNP. We are very happy with our now discontinued model XLR 29 in our signature. Go with whatever floor plan best fits your needs.

He's correct. His XLR has a unique layout and is very well made.

I'm with Keystone.
The XLR will surely be nicer. But "built better" is how you look at it. Tougher and more durable? Nothing beats a Work & Play in those categories.
But as soon as I quit racing ATVs, we put the W&P on craigslist to get something nicer.

We took delivery of our 28KW in April. We love it!! We have taken it out 4 times and we are still seeing sawdust each time we arrive. After reading several posts on the forum we were expecting it.

I just took my 30 HDS from OKC to LasVegas and back. Almost 2500 miles round trip and it dumped sawdust out all the way there and back.

That's so you can find your way home. Like breadcrumbs.

Take down a speaker for a shower. The "attic" is full of sawdust and debris. I think they dumped an extra barrel in mine.
I also meant to say, if one if these looks good it is only skin deep.

Work & Play is a car hauler with some living space. Heavy, can haul your race car or Jeep, but not the most luxurious unit. XLR is a camper first with nicer amenities and a smaller, lower capacity garage. Harleys, quads, SxS, and golf carts yes, but race car or Jeep, no. Depends on what you need to haul in the garage, basically...
