Carrying capacity

Does anybody know it they figure in the weight of the freshwater when they figure the carrying capacity on the new shockwave? A friend is looking at them and is not sure.
I know on my work and play the weight of the fresh water had to be added. My trailer shows that it can carry 5139. In reality if I fill the tank I loose 913 from that. So itís really only able to carry 4226.
The one his is looking at shows a carrying capacity of 2800. And it holds 150 gal of water. If itís like mine that will kill the carrying capacity.

Yes that is correct. Figure 8.31 Lbs per gallon. So 150 x 8.3 = 1,245 lbs.

Agree with both, you have to add it as gear. To think about....

many, including myself, do not travel with water. Load it when I get there but dont know if your destinations have it available. All of mine to date have. Of course if you have full hookups ... not a problem. If one who feels he needs water when driving down the road, fill it 1/4 or so. it will help.

Grey and black.... another issue on return trip.
