New Summer Home!!!!

New summer home!!!!!!

2015 Shockwave F33SAGDX toyhauler. Open floor plan with no garage seperation wall. Seating options in this are unreal. So much open room.

Added features
Extra 60 gallon fresh water tank (already came with 106 gallon tank) That's ALOT of water!!!!!
Tank heaters
160 watt solar package
Arctic insulation package
Tankless water heater
Kicker sound system
Cummins/Onan RVQG 4000 onboard generator.
and the list goes on.......

Stepping up from our old Puma Unleashed 28' bumper pull toyhauler. Had the TT for 7 yrs and 0 issues at all with it. Really sold on FR products. Time to add some conveinience factors and some elbow room. The Puma had 0 slides and the front queen bed was a pain as it was not a walkaround bed. Always climbing over top of my wife to get to the crapper in the night.
Hoping to try fitting my 2011 Ranger Crew in it tonight. Thinking that it will fit if I move the 2 captains chairs out of the way. Storage is unreal compared to the lil Puma. Side by side pics are crazy looking. Almost makes it look as if you could fit the Puma inside the Shockwave

Thanks folks.

Holy crap. The Ranger Crew fits....... just barely but she fits. Have about 2.5" on each side of the Ranger roof for clearance and about 3" height clearance. I don't think it will sway side to side much but I am going to slice one side of a pool noodle and slip on the edge of the roof just in case. Don't want it slamming the upper cabinets and the edge of the slide out.

Well after a 3 day camp trip shakedown this past weekend I have a couple issues that need addressed.

1- Fresh water tank leak
2- Need a handle on the inside of screen door
3- Need a simple coat rack inside
4- Right brake/tail light quit working
5- Dealer sent wrong keys for the rear loading door

Nothing too major other than the tank leak. It is impossible for me to pinpoint where it is coming from since the tanks are all fully enclosed with the arctic package insulation. I could just see a drip every 3-4 seconds right between the trailer tires.

The black tank rinse feature is awesome!!!! It has a port to hook fresh water to and it has spray bars inside the black tank to rinse it clean. Works better than dragging a hose inside and using this.... RV Flexible Swivel Stik - Camco 40074 - Sewer Flushing - Camping World which works very well btw. Just easier doing everything from outside.
The fresh water drain is something else. It has a pull style valve like the black/gray tanks and a 2" opening. Pull that handle and better stand back!!!!

Heater fired and ran excellent, solar charger kept the batts nice and topped off, generator fires and runs very quiet, on demand water heater is handy feature as well once we figured out the temp setting.

On the way there we had the Ranger loaded. Coming home yesterday my wife just drove it home. I could really feel the difference in the way it towed without the weight in the very back to take some weight off the front so air bags are going to be ordered today for the pickup. Not 100% needed but I like the safer feeling it gives and will be nice when we haul hay also.

All in all I LOVE this trailer!!!!! Such a nice stepup from the lil Puma. No more stacking chairs, Camp Chef, pop up awning, etc under the beds and tracking more dirt inside. All that stores very well in the main outside storage.

Sounds like you have the same issue I had with my FW.... Oh mine the full fitting at the tank wasn't tight... So when full it leaked. Or did yours leak all the time? Another issue with the FW I had that the dealer caught when looking for the leak is that they made the vent hose so long that it had a loop in it.... Once water got into the vent hose it never vented again...

What handle are you talking about for the screen door?

It was a constant drip. I can carry 166 gallons fresh but only filled it about half for this trip so it shouldn't be the fill neck. Thinking it is near the drain valve but havn't had time to look further. The vent was working fine when I drained the fresh out.... you could hear it sucking like a Hoover vacume when I pulled the drain.

This is the handle for the screen door I was referring to. Screen Door Cross Bar - Black Handle - Camco 42183 - Screen Doors - Camping World Simple but nice to have.

Do you only have one fill? If so I bet the transfer line between the two tanks isn't completely tight...
Mine was a very slow drip. If I dumped the tank for like 10 seconds the drip would stop.

That's where I would start if you're going to handle it and not take it to the dealer.

Thanks WR!! Yes we have used the snot out of this thing!!!! Headed out again this weekend.

Surprised there are not more Shockwave owners or info here for them. Is it that new of a model or is there something I missed? Either way I love this thing.

When I bought mine 2 years ago, there wasn't a dealer in the treasure valley, so I had Camping World order mine from their stock in Portland. I believe Bretz picked up the line in the last 2 years. I think they are a good value for the money.
