Trouble with t28FQDX slide

Having trouble with slide on our 2016 Shockwave. It will eventually come in after stopping and starting to square up. Dealer tech said to run it in and out completely holding the switch 3 seconds to retime it. It won't run in or out without stopping part way so that messes up the retiming plan.
Wondering if anyone has had similar problems. It's on it's way to the dealer next Wednesday, hopefully nothing too serious. I asked the service writer what the worst case scenario could be, his response was, replacing it. I hope not as we don't want it tied up that long.

My bedroom slide would "walk in" like it was a tooth off on the motor. Found out water had gotten in and made the floor swell. Had to replace the slide floor.

Seems my wife may have had it overloaded. The cupboards were full of canned goods, the grill for our BBQ and various other heavy items. I took everything out of the cupboards and it never missed a beat. We are leaving for the dealer tomorrow, we'll discuss this with him.

Weight seemed to be the problem, emptied the cupboards and put in light weight items, problem cured.

Thanks for the replies.

Jack and Gayle and Charlie too

Our dealer told us 5 seconds to wait after it stops going in or out to reset.

Maybe the real instructions say "at least 3 seconds". I don't know anything else as we never got any written instructions and you know how salesmen are.
At least ours has been working fine since taking the extra weight out of the cupboards.

Now we are waiting for Lippert Ind. to repair the axle alignment. It's looking like they will need to cut the spring hangers from the frame on one side and move them to match the other side. Haven't heard from Lippert since the 28th of March. They wanted more pictures, which I don't know what they would show as, guessing to see if anyone had done any work on the frame??? Both axles are sitting slightly diagonally in relation to the frame, no wonder it pulls hard and is eating the tires off. The axles are parallel as they should be, just headed to the left instead forward

A follow up on the axle problem. We got them fixed and Lippert's man said they would pay $65 per tire, I thought oh well, that's better than nothing, not going to argue with them anymore. Just got a check in the mail today for the full cost of the tires. I'm tickled, I mounted them myself so there wasn't any mounting and balancing charge but I am tickled to get the full price of the tires!!!! I guess I do get paid for mounting if Discount Tires comes through with their 4th of July promotion, $100 Visa!
