2313 & 2515

Hi all,

For those that have the 2313 or the 2515, what is the total bumper to hitch length of your trailer and dry weight per the sticker? What kind of vehicle are you towing it with and what kind of trips are you taking it on/distance towed and terrain?

Looking at these two trailers and trying to pair it with a truck purchase as well. I see some people towing with F150's which is one of the vehicles we are looking at, but also considering a 2500. Truck will be wifes daily driver. She actually likes the 2500 better, but I like the F150. Decisions decisions,

We've looked at both but I neglected to measure them, so if anyone can save me a trip back to the dealer just to measure I'd appreciate it. Any other comments on them appreciated as well

I have the wa2715 model and had the f150. I have towed my trailer with this truck for almost a year. However the truck started making noises coming from the drive shaft. Also the issue I was having was climbing hills, this is where the 1/2 ton truck struggles. I would recommend getting a 2500 or F250 preferably diesel. I just purchased a 2014 f250 diesel and all I can say is WOW! And I am getting better mpg on this truck than my f150.

I have the 2515 its 26.5" total length. I used a 2013 tundra to tow it but after two trips, I bought a new ram 2500 diesel. HUGE difference! I'll never tow this trailer again with a half ton, talk about white knuckle. dry weight said 6500lbs, but thats not the real issue. Its the tounge weight. This trailer is front heavy and adding anything to it put me over the limit.

Also, my two cents, I really regretted listening to the sale man tell me my half ton could tow it. Looking back, I would have rather bought the truck first, then the trailer. We were so worried about what the truck could handle, we missed a few other options we wanted but going a few hundred pounds lighter. All that, and in the end the half ton was miserable to pull it with. It wasn't the power it lacked so much as how it handled the trailer when it had water/gas/toys in it..

I agree Brandon. The dry weight is just that. Who drives the trailer with nothing inside of it? Fuel, water, toys, easily another 2,000 lbs. plus my trailer holds 160 gallons of water and my 4 seater Rzr inside is 3,000 just with those two items.
Don't get me wrong, I loved my 2012 F150 and tows fine as long as your not climbing hills or going over 55 mph.

Thank you for the responses! Awesome info. BrandonV, the 26.5 is hitch to bumper or box length?

Thx again

I have the 2313 and its just under 27.5 total length and tow it with 2014 2500. The truck gets the same fuel mileage either loaded or unloaded and the trailer tows the same. Have traveled from Southern Califorina to Yellowstone. Have noticed that almost all the Stealths in our area are having the same issue (fuel gauge not working) was fixed and extremly happy with the trailer.

New to Forum. We have the 2014 2515G with Arctic Package, and solar panel, just under 7000 lb dry weight, I measured about 30' trailer length, 32'-8' or so over all with tongue. Love it. Pull it with my 2012 Silverado 2500 HD, gas, does great for most part, struggles a bit going up Colorado mtn passes, (have to go down to 2nd gear, 4500 rpm, to stay at 45 mph) otherwise on low land pulls great. Have used 8 times this summer, Everything has worked absolutely perfect, other than dual propane tank regulator (had to switch out, had a leak). Plan to use several more times before winter hits.

Does anyone here have a cover for the trailer you would recommend? Our winters can be a bit long and harsh here, and I have to store it outside.

I have a cover for my WA2715. I have never used it. Do you want to buy it?
