About to buy a 2017 Stealth FS2413.
Greetings ladies and gents. New to Rv's and the forum. After months of research, mind changing and the budget we have narrowed it it down to this model. I'm halfway done with the paperwork so as soon as the loan gets approved I guess I will be picking it up. Had just about everything I had been looking for except for of course one of the most important things that generator. Hoping the deal I'm getting is good $25K for the FS2413. I've been trying to figure out what things I am going to have to buy to get it out on the road. I mean in terms of the basics like the sewer hoses and stuff. I also ordered an Equal-i-zer 12k sway control. I'll be pulling it with my 2010 Toyota Tundra.

With a GVWR on that TH of 9999, you #1 don't need a commercial or non-commercial Class-A to legally pull it (that's a good thing). And #2 I'd imagine you probably wont hit max weight on that, so the 12k may be overkill and transfer too much weight off the coach. I guess you can go to a scale and find out
I paid $37k for my WA2916 and I think I could have paid less, since they were so quick to accept my counter offer. I knew nothing when I bought it... So am I getting $12k more of a TH than you? I doubt it. Yeah I got the generator and a long list of other options that seem to be standard for all the ones on the lot. No idea about your price, sorry.

And remember that I think the 2 year (normally 1 year) extended warranty from Forest River is an extra $100 or $200 something in that range. There is a thread all about it on here if you search. You have i think 30 or 90 days from purchase date, so jump on that.

Thank you AMG...I had just came across a thread today regarding that. Was looking for the actual page so I knew what model detail specific they offered. Was browsing through my phone on the Forest River website and couldnt find it. I appreciate the heads up, thats definately good info to know.

We have a 2313 hard wall , pulled it with my tundra for 3 yrs pulled fine, your hitch weight will be likely 1100 pounds when ready to hit the road so your hitch choice should be fine. I was not use to pulling with gas so the rpm required bothered me a bit. Brakes where fine, I did upgrade to a 3500 diesel truck , more about preference then need lol. But the pay load of the crew max is a shade light. Happy rv ing , man we love our 2313 and have yet to find something that would make us what something different

Looks good. You using a WDH? Looks like your squatting a bit and I assume the trailer is unloaded. May need stronger bars or go up a link in the chain etc.

Hi thank you. Yes its unloaded at the time of the picture. I was driving it home and stopping at Costco to keep contributing to the economy, lol. They actually threw in an Equilizer 12000 lb wdh with the sale. Maybe it was just the angle of the picture. It felt like it towed real good, of course it was empty.

AMG, you actually paid what I paid for the exact unit. I still think we paid a fair price and yes.... no disrespect at all to the OP, it is about 11-12k more trailer.
Nice rig though Tmoz78!

Installed a few tv mounts and 2- 32" Samsung Tv's. One in the bedroom. Just need to pick up a power inverter to run them off the batteries.

The bunk area. That was another thing with picking a toy hauler. I need at least 78" clearance in height to accomodate my Kawasaki Teryx.

Great weekend getaway to Pismo Beach California. Inaugurated the trailer in the dunes with no problems for the Memorial Day holiday. 5 days in the trailer with 6 other toy boxes in our group. Everyone was impressed by how nice this line is. Pulled it about 400 miles round trip.

This is my first reply...so I'm hoping I'm doing this right. I have been tempted to make a quick run down to pismo too. How was it on the sand? And we're you at the SRVA (I think that is what it is).

I was at what is considered Oceano Dunes SVRA. Yes it is dry camping and directly on the beach. This is where most people camp at. We had a group of us with about 6 toy haulers. If you go on a non holiday weekend you should be able to pick up an overnight pass. Check with reserveamerica.com to make a reservation. If you are heading in alone or depending on whats pulling your trailer I would suggest picking a spot closer to the entrance. The further you go in to the dunes it can get pretty choppy and might require a little pull in from a second 4x4 truck. Google pismo beach or dunes for a general idea of the area or terrain. We have been camping and riding there for about 20 years. First tents and now stepped up to the trailer. It's very nice.
