I think I have the LT tires on my truck factory. I have researched for hours about the "max tow" package on the f150's and I have everything on mine except those big ass mirrors.
I am thinking about getting the Firestone 2525 air bag kit plus the wireless gauges. Pricing is fairly reasonable for $600 for everything. I wall ready watched a video and installation seems very simple.

Jjs, just out of curiosity, what does your sticker say on your drivers side door (the one with the tire data on it)? From what I've learned, you really can't go over that weight on the sticker. From another post, that already includes full gas and a 150 pound driver. So people, gear, and tongue weight are going to add up, and you can't exceed that number.

I THINK!!!

By the door sticker that you posted, you do not have the max tow package (11300 lbs) as the trucks GVWR would be around 7700 lbs (dependent on model) and a 500 - 600 lb higher payload capacity.

I think the 3.73 gear ratio really bumps up the towing. I have the same wheel base as him. Is my truck ok?

Your door sticker indicates that you have P metric which are passenger tires. Member jbj door sticker indicates LT (light truck) load range C which was an option.

I have the 3.73 as well. I just checked the sticker. Just not the capacity. So, there has to be more than that. Man am I bummed.

According to the attached link, the ecoboost with 3.73 tow rating is 9600 - 9800 vs 11300 with the max towing option...not sure why that would be. Here's the link... http://www.ford.com/resources/ford/g..._F150nov18.pdf

I have searched on ford forums and I cannot find any difference between the max tow package and my truck. The hitch is the same, the gear ratio is the same,... The dealers can't even tell me the difference. The only difference I can find is the radiator. The max tow package has mirrors and heavy duty radiator.
