Sanitary hose storage install

Hi - Anyone ever install a sanitary hose storage tube on a Stealth? Not much storage for this on the SS1913. What location I best? Front or back of trailer and what was it fastened to? Tnx in advance!

I just finished doing this on my 1913 - I took a 5" vinyl fence post from Home Depot, cut it down to about 7 feet and mounted it to the frame rail and used fence post caps secured with a 6" bolt and wing nuts to. I used a section of 4" rain gutter as the 'tray' for the hose. So far so good. It holds my 15 foot hose with no problem but there isn't enough room for my 10' extension hose.

If i had to do it over again, I'd cut the fence post so it was a long as could be without extending past the trailer walls - this would add perhaps another 12 or so inches and might allow both hoses to fit.

Good luck!

One more comment - I drilled a couple of holes in the flanges of the trailer frame and bolted the fencepost that way. On the left side, there's a gas line that (on mine at least) hangs below the frame. I fabricated a stand-off for that side to keep the tube from putting pressure on the pipe.

I just purchased the Super Slider Super Tube from this link: http://www.dwincorp.com/products/125...ble-SUPER-TUBE.

Adjustable length, fits the Rhino tubes and accessories! Thanks all!

Scroll down to the last 2 posts.

This winter i just added a 2nd storage tube for when i have hook ups a 15' hose and i just had some big pvc with a door laying around so i painted it black and hung it behind the gas tank on the rear, i think i welded mine on though..
