SS1913 and satellite

i've seen some advertisements that the 2015 stealth is wired for Cable, Satellite, and OTA.

does anyone know if i can hook a tailgator satellite dish to the stock stealth coax input?

I haven't done it - but when showing my 2014 1913 to an RV-savvy buddy of mine, he commented on the ease of hooking a DirecTV receiver up - dish connects to the outside, receiver between ceiling jack on the wall, and the TV Antenna on the roof powered off.

Should be good to go! Let us know how it works if you try.

I am assuming you are referring to the park cable input. Should be able to and the other end to the sat receiver where ever that is inside your unit.

If it's satellite prepped it should have two connections on the outside. One for cable and one for satellite. Inside the trailer close to the TV there should be a wall plate with the same connections. Satellite will not go through the TV booster on or off. The receiver needs a straight feed from the dish to work. Otherwise the picture will be extremely snowy. My trailer was supposed to be prepped and wasn't. I had to do a little rewiring to get it to work.

Yes you should be able to hook up the cable to the Rv from your satellite dish.

I have a winegard carry out. (Version 1) it has never failed to receive a signal even in very wooded areas. You might try that. Easy to use and set up.

I can always get a shot at all three of the satellites I need through the trees. I have over 150 feet of cable and have used that much to connect my DirecTv Slimline dish to the three receivers in my travel trailer. However, I rarely need more than 50 feet.
