I just don't want it to fall off the wall "down the road". Are a couple screws into the stud enough to keep it on the wall during the shakes, rattles and rolls?

I am hoping that someone will tell me that the factory "blocked" the wall to make a more secure mounting spot. All the wires are there I just need the TV!!!

If it were me I'd feel confident in using a couple of lag screws, and not think twice about it falling off the wall. I have a similar set-up in the front bedroom of my trailer, with the inputs/receptacle mounted in the ceiling, that I want to install a TV/DVD combo. Dealer told me they install backing behind the wall for the purpose to mount them............but then again, thats what the dealer told me

I want to hang a mount in my bedroom also. I know there is a backing board there and was going to use lag screws. the shower is behind that location. Not sure how thick the wall/board is. Am I safe with 1 inch or 1 1/2 inch screws?

When I took delivery of mine, the guy doing the walkthrough was in service and he said there are studs behind and a stud finder would identify them (the bedroom in the wa2916) and a standard mount with lags is all they would use.

I plan to find out sometime.
