Just checked out a new XLR at the dealer today. Man, are those things awesome! Bit of confusion with the weight rating, and sales guy was really no help. I think they just started dealing with the XLR's. Two stickers on the front both say it has 15" tires with 5080 # axles. GTWR of 18000. Pointed out to him that didn't work out right. Sure enough, it has 16" E tires, and he "THINKS" it has 6000 # axles. If I can get a deal on one of those bad boys, I'm gonna get one! Oh yeah, most important, the wife loved it ,too.

Well, I thought I was gonna try to work this out. Called a dealer that the factory east coast rep had recommended. I don't mind traveling to get what I want. Was a dealer out of state, about 6 hrs. away. Quoted me over the phone gonna give me $29K for a rig I paid $47K for and used 6 times. Going from 2008 to 2011. Statring price on the new XLR-$59K. OUCH!!! Guess I'll keep looking!
