Questions for Bear
Glad to hear you have had good luck with the Canadian Sport. Hoping to have the same here. Right now we are still pulling the 385 with a Ford F350 dually 6.0 deisel. I'm planning on getting a medium duty hauler in the near future, but for now, going to try hauling the 385 with the Ford. We are going to try to keep her as lite as possible until we upgrade. Did you find alot of things from the factory that made no sense. We ordered this one, so I had found weird things that I had changed. First I had them move the basement light from the middle of the compartment, to near the street side door. Also I had them replace all the dump valves with electric ones. The pull type originals were placed so bad that you had to crawl under the trailer to open them. I added 2 doors to the panels in the basement. One to get to the valve on the back of the water heater, and one to get to the water filter and the water pump. I had to pull those panels off to install a central vacuum, and found there was no way to get to the filter and it was full of water. It was supposed to have been winterized when we picked it up. I'm waiting for the water pump by-pass to arrive, so I can pump antifreeze into the entire system. Wasn't a happy camper when I saw the filter full of water. Also installing tie-down anchors in the garage to hold the trike in place. Still have a whole list of additions, like coat hangers, towel racks and even the toilet paper holder to finish. Glad to have found a site with people who own the same toy hauler. The All American Sports aren't even mentioned on the Toy Hauler magazine site. Happy camping.
