Where is the full coach 100% water filter?

We just purchased a used 2006 All American 385RLTS. According to the brochure for that year, there was a full coach 100% water filter as a standard option. Does anyone know if this is true, and where I could find it if so? Also, there is a second water inlet above the one that is marked for city water. I've read this is for the black tank flush. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm not sure where the filter is on your particular trailer, but, FR usually puts them very close to the water pump. If you can find your pump, the filter is usually there too. You can find the pump by following the noise. Often, you will find them behind a cabinet door with hinges on both sides. Just take the screws out of one side and open the door. If not behind a cabinet door, then look behind any false panels inside cabinets or outside storage compartments.

There is always the possibility that the previous owner have remove the water filter and connected the line direct?

can u locate the fresh water holding tank inlet? on my travel trailer, the one next to the city inlet is to fill the fresh water tank. (the fresh fill and city connections are less than 6" apart; the back water flush is several feet away don't know abt a motor home).

If your unit does have a filter, as said before it should be close to the water pump. The pump may be in out side storage area back wall. It will either be for the flush or it could be to fill your fresh water holding tank. I know on mine I have one for direct water and the other to fill the holding tank. I would not think a black water flush would be that close to fresh water. If you thinks its black tank hook water up to it and open up toilet flush you will hear the water coming in.

It has a filter from factory. Crawl into your storage compartment, you will see a squar pice of rug covered wood hung on the rear wall with 4 wood screws, remove it and you will find the water filter and water pump. And yes, that is a black water flush. DO NOT have water running in there unless the black tank valve is open
