Is there any rhyme or reason to the wiring color. I am installing a Maxxfan in a tracer 240 Air. I am removing the standard vent and see three wires traveling through. One is obviously a 110 probably for the AC. The two other wires look to be 12v and are white and white with yellow stripe. I plan to test them but odd colors I thought.

In previous dealings with white and white/yellow the white/yellow is hot and white is ground.
Your results may vary. DOUBLE CHECK.
When they wired mine all the DC wires were solid green / solid yellow.
I forget which one was hot.
In this photo are DC wires that go to the left slide motor, the right slide motor, and the fresh water tank heater. There are also two 110 VAC circuits and the wires from the fresh water tank sensors.
