1st time out in out new 3200BHT

The wife and I took the new camper out for a test run this past weekend and found out a few things we need to take care of.
Cons:
1st, the bunkhouse door will not stay close, the door knob plunger setting to low for the striker hole. ( Will have to move door hinges)

2nd, the skylight in the kitchen and shower put out a lot of heat. (Need a fix for this)

3rd, need to add a hand rail over the small grip handle which should help going up and down the steps. (Will install hand rail)

4th, need to add a adjustable water pressure regulator, the cheap one sucks. (What is the best one to buy)

5th, need to buy some extended wheel lock chocks. (Buy)

6th, One ac unit isn't good at night in the summer time. (Need 50 amp service)

7th. Need to add more storage in bathroom somehow. (???)

8th. Fridge took forever to cool down.

Pros:
1. Love the big shower.
2. Love the layout, Lots of room.
3. Glad we added the 2nd air unit in the bedroom with 95 degs weather if only we had a 50 amp service which we didn't. We ran it at night.
4. Factory mattress isn't that bad when you add a 4" pad from camping world :-) .
5. Love the looks inside and out.
6. Easy to setup.
7. Love the Led lights inside and Led awing light.
8. Outside storage will hold more than it looks.
9. Wife loves the Island sink.

If you guys have some ideas please let me know.

1. CON: did you check your bunkhouse with a level in several places, front to back and side to side?
You may be twisted and a good manual (checked in several places) level may fix your door.

Congratulations on the new camper. As for item #2 Camping World sells a vent cushion that works very well keeping the heat out. I have 3 in my camper. Item #8 turn the frig. on the day before you leave and let it get cold. When you get to the campground it won't take long to get back cold.

I had a hard time getting in and out of my Salem CruiseLite and so I had my dealer put on a dual step. Much easier now though a large handrail would also be a nice addition.

Did you add the second ac post manufacturing , by the dealer or order it? You mention you wish you had 50 amp. Does this mean you can not run both units at the same time?

I am thinking about adding a second ac and running it on a second 30 amp cord and put the first to a 50 amp adaptor

I could not run 2 AC unit on a 30 amp service. I needed a 50 amp which I didn't have . 50 amp service should run 2 ac unit with out it tripping out.

SilverArrowPro, did you fasten it to the wall or is it just free standing?

I used the command strips, velcro, two on the bottom and two on the back towards the top. So I can remove them if needed.

We've had our 3200bht for less than a year and love the room and layout. Having problem with main slide after noticing wood shavings in floor after letting the slide out. Thought it was from factory and left under carpet. It has been in shop for 5 weeks and still not ready. Had to remove the slide and are replacing everything. That's what I've been told.
