2013 Sanibel 3500 Front Exterior Storage

Looking at making my exterior storage area of my Sanibel more effective. Bought some wall racks and will be installing then soon. I have a question as to the slots in the bottom area of the storage area. Is this ventilation slots for a generator, if installed? I do not have an installed generator and was thinking of sealing then up. Any ideas? I currently store everything in bins lined up next to each other on the bottom and other than the hooks installed by Primetime the rest of the walls are not utilized.

Is your battery in the front compartment? If so then the vent is probably for the battery also.

The slots are for a generator they cut between the slots and vent the genset. Your battery should be vented to the outside. I put some plywood down and it sealed and reinforced it both
