No I'm considering that and one with a darker glass. My last trailer I used some from CW and they screwed right in place of the white plastic ones. If the holes don't line up perfectly a dab of white caulk will cover pretty quick.

Here's my pendant light installed!
I used a white plastic shade and spray painted it. Took the ceiling light down that existed above the island and took all the wiring out of it & used it in the pendant. Got the white collar to hide the screw holes from the existing light.

Maybe I missed something but it looks like the slide-out may hit that when you retract it.

Mine did the same during the cold weather (middle of the molding) so I figured I'd get to it later. I went out the other day when we got up into the 60's and it was gone. Temp thing I guess.

Slides cant come in closer than the island and the light is above the island - same as the larger models that have 3 pendants in a fixture above the island.

Nicely done! I especially like the spray paint on the white plastic shade. How did you accomplish that effect? It looks like an almost perfect match.

Where did you get the collar to cover the screw holes?

Thank you! I actually used 4 different metallic colors. I wanted plastic so it would be lightweight. There's a spray paint that's called "webbing" and it's like silly string in paint form. The collar is from Lowes.

The kitchen slide is already retracted in the picture.

Not sure anymore

Hi guys my wife and I just put a hold on a 2014cursader295rst but after reading all the complaints about lights and slides we might look at some other 5th wheels but we love the crusader so I might take a look at the 294or the285 or are they all the Same?

Don't let that stuff stop you. The crusaders are very nice compared to other units in the same price range. We are very happy with ours.

X100!
We love our Crusader 295rst! You won't find a better product in this price range! We've had no issues with ours which is so rare for any camper product.

We also LOVE our PT product! Sure it has had a few issues, nothing to get all bent out of shape about though. PT has always responded to any question I had or any issue I've sent their way. I would recommend a PT product to anyone.
