Found this online...I wish our 2014 had this faux wood floor and love the 2nd window in the bedroom. We always been bothered by having only the 1 window. Light counters, pull down faucet & dark glass in pantry too.

Hard for those of us who don't have the older Crusader to see the difference between "old & new".

I didn't realize so many 295rst owners already had the 2nd window in the bedroom! I thought it was just introduced in late summer? Now you have me interested to know who has the 2nd window and who doesn't and when they purchased their rig?

We saw the new pull down faucet on the plant tour this past August. Nice! If we head back to Indiana this year we'll probably snag one from the plant. I'll have to sort the leftover hole in the counter as the pull down is a one hole faucet.

I don't like the loss of the large wardrobe in the bedroom to get the second window. We use it for laundry etc.

I'm not a huge fan of the faux wood look on the floor either.

The lighter counter tops though, I do like that.

We have a 2013 295 rst te. Don't like the loss of the closet in the bedroom, nor do I like the flooring. We have upgraded all of our lighting to led. Still like our layout.

New member, just ordered a 2015 PrimeTime Crusader 295RST-TE. For those of you with this unit, would you recommend installing the 2nd A/C up in the front bedroom. We will be camping in the South East of the U.S. and temps can get into the upper 80's and 90's. Was thinking of installing a Fantastic Fan otherwise in that spot for the times we dry camp in the spring time with no hookups.

I have a max air deluxe thermostat and remote for the bedroom and that is all we need. Single 15k ac seems all we need but we also have dual pane windows.

I installed a 2nd AC after buying the unit. While I think one could keep the unit cool when starting from a cool-ish temperature, I found just one AC took a long time to cool a hot unit down.

Can anyone that has a 2015 Crusader look under their slide and tell me if it is covered in black plastic mesh or something else? We and many other owners are having problems with the material tearing as the slide moves in and out. It appears that PT has not came up with a good fix.

Jim, we had a 2nd ac installed and it works great! Beware that the 2nd ac will be put on at the highest point of the trailer thus adding about 12 inches to your height! If we have to use a 30 amp service we use the living room during the day and the BR one at night,

Just came back from 2 weeks in key west, temps 80 - 90 2013 rst te 1 a / c. Was good enough for me, I was worried about the dw, but she was comfortable also.

We have the 2013 295 (not the touring). Very happy with it. One thing though if they had that 321res then I probably would have gone with that. Love that layout both the windows and bedroom.

How do you like towing the Crusader with the F150, I have a 2014 F150 FX4 with EcoBoost but was not sure if it would do ok on a fifth wheel without modifications so I bought a Roo 23IKSS and it works for us

I was looking at the 290 end of last year but then they stopped making it so we started to look at the 295/294 but it seems dealers are less likely to deal on these models and we talked to 3-4 of them. I assume they are both popular product lines but price is what kept us held back mid $30K so we looked at tons of stuff and went for a Roo 23IKSS and are very happy and much less considering they are both different trailers. I like the Crusader line over all other 5er's but I do not like the new ultra lite models they removed water dock and slam latches.

A quick heads up for you new 295RST owners.(and others with cabinets close to slides) We had our first casualty today on our 2014 Crusader 295RST. I opened the curb side slide out after winter storage. About half way open, I heard a disheartening crack and reversed the slide. After opening the other slide so I could get back there, and upon examination I discovered the right cabinet door by the couch had apparently come open and gotten caught in the slide. Door broke apart and hinges were sprung. Could not see any slide damage. Not sure how to prevent issues like this except making sure all cabinet doors are closed before closing slides.

Either rubber bands on all the handles or we used baby locks to keep our Shasta cabinets from popping open on bumps in the road, they were made like crud also had to replace hinges and screws bc the factory ones were too short and pulled out all the time
