2016 Lacrosse Slide Bulb Seal Question

We have our 2016 Lacrosse 327RES at the dealer for repair. It's been there since Feb. After multiple calls checking status the party line was waiting on parts. They came clean today stating it has not been looked at and could be months before it comes into the shop. The only reason I took it there was for warranty repairs. My warranty expires in March. I am going to go and get it and fix it myself. Rant over.

My question - are you supposed to seal the top of the bulb seal where it mates with the trailer slide walls. I know the leak is coming from the bulb seal. If so, this could be the source of the leak. Water appears to be entering behind the bulb seal and then onto the roof of the slide. The water runs across the slide and on to the floor. The slide does not leak when opened. Even during down pours, no water. If I close the slide, it leaks on the lightest rain. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Here are some pics from the inside when slide is closed.

There is definitely something wrong there, I have nearly the exact model except the bunkhouse and mine does not leak when closed and I have been in some serious downpours with wind and all.

Well your dealer stinks imo! This could be a simple slide adjustment. If you look at the outside upper slide, does the slide close tight or is there a gap? I dont see anything wrong with inside seals.

Have you called Prime Time yet???

Both slides seal tight on the outside top and sides. When the slide is open after a rain if you push on the bulb seal water comes out of the top edge where it meets the outside wall of the trailer. I noticed there was no caulking along the edge which is why I questioned should there be. I did call PT. Waiting on a return call. I Plan to call them tomorrow if I don't hear back from them. And yes, they stink big time.

Im not at my Lacrosse to look. But you do have 2 other slides, is there caulk on them? If yes, I would say caulk it and save yourself the aggravation.

You are correct. We have three slides. Two on the drivers side (both leak when closed) and one on the curb side (does not leak). I am going to get the trailer on Fri and that's my first check - the curb slide - is the seal caulked at the top. If so, look out other slides some goop is coming your way. Thanks for the advice.
