2016 Sanibel 3601 - purpose of valve?

Would anyone happen to know the purpose of the black petcock valve that protrudes from the under belly cover on the left hand side beneath the storage compartment on a 2016 Sanibel 3601?

I own a Crusader and have a valve in about the same location that is the low point fresh water drain.

I have a 2015 Sanibel 3601 and the drain that you are looking at is the low point or fresh water tank drain. You open that valve to drain your fresh water tank.

Thanks all! I know I have hot and cold low point drain valves in the hookup area for the plumbing, so that would make sense to have a valve to drain the fresh water tank.

3250 here and same valve.......drains your fresh water tank. Just drained mine today so I can refill w/fresh water. We always keep about 1/3 tank in case campground water source fails (ask me how I know.....its happened).
