318bhs Bathroom Addition

My wife had a brilliant idea to increase counter space in our bath.

I think it worked out great and solved the only issue we had with this unit.

Looks nice! I can see where that would come in handy.

Where did you find the matching counter? We just bought the same model, pick it up in march, and my wife likes that idea..

Prime Time was nice enough to get us some matching materials. The brackets are the basic flip up shelf hardware from our dealer. Overall a real simple add to pick up the extra counter space. With my wife and two girls it is going to get used alot.

The shelf is 16" x 14" which leaves pleanty of room for electrical cords to plug into the side cabinet outlet.

Thanks again to prime time for the help, hope they dont get mad at me for posting it here. Maybe RVguy will cut us forum folks some slack and smooth things over with the parts crew at prime time. Its just to good of an idea not to share it with our fellow prime time owners.

I backed up the screws and the brackets with additional framing so the shelf is not supported by the thin plywood sidewalls.

I hadn't even opened up that little cabinet yet as I only had the one hour walk through and then has to say goodbye as its now in storage. Thanks for the additional info, great vision on this mod! Sometimes the simplest things make the biggest difference in comfort! Great job!
