nice work. we just bought a 318bhs(dont bring it home till the 22nd) and this is one of the things i have been thinking of already.
I'm going to try to figure a way to put a couple nice long drawers under there.

Rv guy. Thanks for the tip...I noticed that. As of right now I have the handles off for a nice clean look...I have the stock handles that match the rest, that I got with my order...they will fit on fine...but I just haven't decided if I want to add them or not yet.

I too am looking into adding a sliding drawer to come out. Another idea I have is adding a divider under the dinette, so things don't slide all around and so you can reach everything in the front by opening the cabinet door....essential separating the under seat storage into 2 compartments....one hat you can fully access from the new door...and one you will still need to move the seat for...if that makes sense...going to look into all that next week...

So can this be done on a Tracer or are the doors not available for it? We have Tracer 3150 BHD.

I also am curious about access via a door on the Tracer 3150 BHD.

the drawers are pretty straight foward. you can even use the doors if you have them as the drawer face. I "believe" i put 36" HD drawer slides in mine..they hold like 100lbs if you install them with enough bracing inside...i know they make longer ones, but that was the only size my friends at the woodshop had in stock....

I am getting the trailer out of the shop on wed....ill try and remember to snap some pics of the parts and how they are installed...

fyi here is the pic i originally "borrowed" my idea from...not sure where i got it, or whos camper it was???

In my case we custom fabbed the drawers out of Alder and I had my buddy who refinishes furniture stain it to match the rest of the interior pieces....the drawer slides were some 36" 'soft close' ones That were leftover from another job...my total cost was about 20 $.....but if you have to buy the drawer guides retail they can get spendy......I like them a lot....very very functional....I also have a couple of gas struts want to mount on the center dinette seat....

One more quick question. I notice your table has solid mounts in the floor. Did yours come like that? Does it fold to a bed?
I really don't like the table that came in my lacrosse and I have been trying to do something different. My dinette appears to be the same shape and I like that table setup.

if your referring to the pic, thats not my trailer....just the one i stole the idea for the drawers from...LOL. I too still have the crappy table it came with (actually two now, as the first was replaced under warranty)....i am working on a modified pedestal version of the table though...probably wont be done till after camping season and i have more free time...

as far as the gas struts, my idea is your idea!!! actually if you want to do it first and post up a how to and save me some time and effort of thinking it through, that would be great! LOL
