318BHS Under Dinette Seating Cabinets?
I know it's been batted around, but does anyone have any pictures of a mod of cabinet drawers under the dinette seating? I ordered the cabinet drawers and they came in today. Tomorrow it's "MOD Day": Cabinet Drawers under dinette seating and installing a flip up shelf next to the bathroom sink.
I'm a Marine....pictures work good for us ;-)

Wow I can't believe what I just read for the fact there really is no original idea . You got the mod you wanted for really a cheap price. I have had one issue with my trailer that was quickly rectified unlike other trailers that I have owned that you have to fight to get things fixed.

Hopefully I'll be putting my cabinet doors on next week when I'm back from Denver....order the doors and they came in 2 days later. Had them for a week now. Please post pics and I'll do the same. They should look really nice.

Are you putting DOORS. or DRAWERS under there? I'm putting doors on...but my wife would love to add a drawer in there too...and I would be very interested in the cost on that. And how it turns out

I tried to order from PT but they declined to order them for me stating it would violate their franchise agreements. My dealer had no success in getting them either.
Guess I'll call PT again...
Thanks,
Dwayne

For clarification - we have a policy that prohibits us from selling parts to retail customers in excess of $50. Generally, 2 dinette doors will fall just under that amount and we can sell those to a customer thru our Customer Service department.
Dwayne, you shouldn't have a problem with that order. Sorry you were denied.

Tried to order again but PT wants me to measure the cabinets myself and/or provide pictures. I don't have access to my trailer right now. Should I need to really do this for my 2670BHS? I assume PT would have all the info they need. Roger was able to look me up in their system and has my VIN.

Personally I would not want to order without measuring to make sure you are getting exactly what you need.

I agree. I measured and the ones they had n stock from a different model fit mine. I'm hoping to do my install on Thursday. If your dinette is the same size as mine, the size I got should fit....I believe they Are 12" x 22 " but I'd have to check again

Well just finished my install came out great. I can't decide weather to put on the handles or leave them off for the clean look...right now they are off. This took about an hour and was very easy....the first pic is the before pic...the rest are the after. I only posted the left side of the dinette...you get the idea.
The before pic...
After...door closed
With the door ope, access with out moving the cushions...

Looks great!
Could you confirm the measurements you provided earlier? I would like to compare them to mine as soon as I get my unit back from the dealer.
How did you cut out the thin panel from the dinette?

The doors are 12" x 24 ". And I didn't have to cut the panel at all..it is just stapled in...i used my fist and lightly tapped around the edges and it came out pretty smoothly...

Dwayne - maybe I wasn't paying attention fully but I assumed you had a 318 LaCrosse given the thread title - my fault for assuming.
The reason for the strange question from Roger is we do not currently offer doors for the dinettes on Tracer. We started using them on LaCrosse so we know what door that would be. I didn't even realize we were trying to get Tracer doors special ordered for customers. Even I learn something on these boards
Kozzy - I would be very careful with installing any type of handle on these doors. When your s/o comes in, one of your doors is going to be VERY close to your bath wall. The wrong handle could hit.
