325RES FM Radio antenna
Good day All,
We just bought a 2014 325RES, but when I decided to listen the FM radio, the reception was really poor. Yes, it's a nice radio with Blue Tooth capability, but I am not there yet.
I have notices there is NO RADIO antennas on the rig, any one else having a 325RES can confirm if you have and radio antenna?
Happy Camping.
Jean

I had the same issue with the Jensen radio in our bedroom.
I removed the dresser drawers to look inside and found a rather poor coaxial 'tail' about a foot long just hanging loose in back from the antennae jack. I don't know who thought this was a good idea.
I managed to tie into the TV antennae with a coaxial splitter just below in the basement, by routing some coax through the floor by the plumbing - now it works great with no adverse affects to TV reception.
The RCA sound bar FM antennae still needs much to be desired. I'm working on that. I might also tie it into the TV coax as it's right there in the entertainment center.

update
I made the same mod to the RCA sound bar radio this afternoon. Everything is right there in the cabinet and the factory setup was a simple wire just hanging in there attached to nothing. I just needed a splitter and two small pieces of coax to share it with the TV.
Resulted in a good improvement in reception. Another job done

I tried the TV antenna route...no improvement in RCA reception. No diff with amp on. How did you attach radio wire to the coax?

Sorry no pics right now, but I used a push on F type connector on the back of the RCA soundbar. You have to be sure to tee off the antenna amp output with a coaxial splitter - one to the TV, the other to the radio.
I hope this helps.

the F fitting does not mate with my RCA ant. terminal. I soldered a coax to the FM ant wire and connected to the roof ant TV connector.. no reception improvement. The coax center wire was the one soldered.

Thanks zs325RES
I used the TV antenna from the bedroom with and adapter to connect to my radio, Bingo, all work fine now . Since we do not have a TV set in the bedroom, why not using that outlet.
So Thanks zs325RES for the input.

I have to clarify - it was not an 'F' connector, but a slip-on (not screw on) coaxial connector. These are the cheap-and-dirty versions of coaxial connectors. I had a short 6' cable with these ends on that worked well.
Make sure you tap into the 'output' of your antenna amplifier.
@Electroblast - Glad it worked. Happy to have helped by sharing.
