A new tow beast for the 295RST
After 4 great years with my 2012 Ecobeast it was time to upgrade the tow beast. The ecobeast was still performing perfectly well, but a number of factors made it the right time to move to the new truck.
Towing concerns, I have no more towing concerns!

Yeah went from 2014 F150 EB SCREW SB to 2016 F350 6.7 PSD SCREW SB and it is amazing the difference and for me at 10,500 miles I do pretty well with Fuel.
Enjoy the New Ride, Happy Trails and Safe Towing

Did you get short box or long and is that XLT or Lariat? I looked at silver and grey but went with a white King Ranch in the end

Probably won't get much better than that. In fact, that 20 mpg highway is great, I would have to drive 65 mph or less to get that. I am on my 2nd one and they both have been about the same, 17/18 highway (80+ mph) 14-15 city and 10-11 towing my Crusader 315

2016 F350 4x4 6.7 rear 3.55 at 6000 miles. The 3.31rear can make a difference
18 hwy 65-70
city 15.5 - 16.5
tow 12,500 = 11 - 12.5

3.55 Rear end in mine. 4X4 of course.
I lumber along right at 100km/h. Rarely go any faster than that. I'm in no rush.

Found my 2016 F350 has a sweet spot to getting 22 mpg highway is 65-70 anything more or less it drops, sit in the right lane doing that speed, no need to go faster

Just came home from an 1100 mile round trip from near Buffalo to Gatlinburg,Tennessee. I have a 2013 f250 crew cab short box 6.7 with 3.55 rear gear and a 2017 Crusader 295 rst.Trip computer says 11.0 mpg,151 gallons of fuel used. Traveled 70-75 mph most of the time ,Very hilly and mountainous all the way through Pa to Tennessee I love towing with this truck,It rarely down shifts down past 5 gear climbing any of the mountain grades.

Welcome to the diesel world. I have a 2012 6.7, all the mileage numbers are about the same for mine, both towing and empty. Now I really enjoy towing, its a dream. It will continue to amaze you.

We just completed a trip to New Jersey. A solid 11.3 MPG. VERY happy with the truck when towing. When not towing the mileage sucks, but it is what it is.

It will get better over time, at 13K I get 22 highway and combo city highway 19.5, towing my 6,000# Roo 14.5 all city 15.9, some say it takes 20K to break them in but I never exceed 75mph, ever and when towing 60-65
