A Tracer Newbie with a Few Questions

Hello everyone! We just picked up a 2014 Tracer 2950Bhs and are so excited. We are taking a trip out to Florida next week and have a few questions concerning winterizing since we will have to before we return home. This is our first travel trailer so please bear with us First, where is our water pump located? Is it under the bunk bed in the back? And second, in the owners manual under winterization step 5. says :
Fill the tank above minimum water pump operation level
with the RV antifreeze. (Use of a long funnel may be
helpful.) What tank are they talking about?

Can't help you out on the exact location, as I don't have that brand or model, but it will be near the fresh water tank (which btw is the tank they're referring to). Look for where your fresh water fill is located, the pump should be under whatever's on the inside of there.

For winterizing you do not want to fill the FW tank with RV antifreeze. That is a very ineffective way of winterizing your RV. I can't help you on the location of your water pump, but just turn it on, trust me you'll find it. It makes noise..

Here is a link to the FAQ area for lots of information on winterizing your RV.

Oh, yeah, good point about putting the antifreeze in the FW. Teaches me to not reply at 2 in the morning when I'm too tired to read the whole message.

Wow, thank you so much for the quick replies. Just one more thing and I think we should be good. On the bottom of the trailer there are three drain valves. Two are labeled fresh water drain and low point drain. What is the third one for?

There are usually 2 low point drains, one for hot water (usually red) and the other for cold. The fresh water is a drain from your fresh water tank.

Pictures are always needed on a thread like this! It's fun to show off your new trailer.

Oh yes, that's what it is because the tube connected to it is red. Must be the hot water. I tried uploading a picture but it didn't work out. Need to work on that as well. lol

Curious. Why would you say that.

In regards. To ineffective way to put antifreeze in fresh water tank. Granted only about 2 gallons usually. Needed
