Ac

We have just come back from another great week end of camping. After 35 nights out since the 1st of April, the 380MBH has performed perfect. I do have one question tho. While in the basement I felt a great flow of AC coming from under the stairs. This is where the furnace is located. I wonder if I insulate this area if it would cause complication down the road when the furnace is running? Thanks for the info

Yes. The louvers in the wood on the step risers is the return flow for the furnace. If these are blocked there may not be enough air to the furnace causing it to overheat and shut down.

Thanks, but I was thinking of insulating the basement wall but that could also take away the heat in the basement during our winter season. Thank you for you advice.

I took the grills off and put 1/4" neoprene on the back and reinstalled. Made a big difference in the coach.
Of course they will have to be removed before using the furnace.
